University House - ANU

University House is a Canberra and national icon, heritage-listed for its distinctive Mid-Century Modern architecture, bespoke furnishings, original artworks, and tranquil gardens. Following an extensive restoration after the 2020 Canberra hailstorm, University House has been fully renovated and carefully restored, welcoming guests once again to this unique historic landmark. University House offers boutique hotel accommodations, graduate student residences, conference and meeting facilities, and a range of café, bar, dining, and social spaces. Open to all, it is a place where refined hospitality meets the cultural, intellectual, and social life of The Australian National University. Conveniently located within the ANU precinct, University House is less than a one-minute walk from public transport and within a 10-minute bus journey of Canberra's major attractions, including Parliament House, the National Gallery of Australia, and the National Library of Australia.
