Rauchalm Huette

Altitude: 980mA hearty welcome to the Rauchalm hut! The Rauchalm farm is an old, lovingly renovated farm house in a quiet south-facing location offering a fantastic panoramic view of the Murtal valley. In summer cattle graze on the pastureland surrounding the farm. A well-equipped, homey kitchen-cum-living room with stove and seating facilities for up to 20 people await you. There are two double rooms, one room with 8 beds (the hit with all kids - beds are behind the wall panneling with curtains), 2 toilets and a bathroom with shower. Water is heated with gas; gas and paraffin lamps are used for lighting. In front of the hut there is a grill, a fountain and sitting facilities. In summer you can go on hikes on marked trails, collect mushrooms or pick berries. The hut is open from May to end of October.
