Built in 1926 for the Paganini family Holly Homestead is an excellent example of Arts & Crafts architecture mixed with casual country chic. You can feel that the people who lived here over the years lived well. Your hosts Gerard and Bernadine (Bernie) Oudemans have tenderly refurbished the house and created a boutique B&B only three minutes drive from Franz Josef village. Start your adventure in Glacier Country with breakfast at the large wooden farmhouse table and enjoy the charm of a country kitchen. On a clear day you'll be entranced by the view of the Southern Alps and the Franz Josef Glacier Nevé. Gerard and Bernie are both NZ born and enjoy meeting and hosting people from all over the world. Holly Homestead has four stylish guest rooms. All guest rooms have comfortable beds with electric blankets wool duvets quality linen and bathrobes. Toiletries are provided together with hairdryers heated towel rails and demister mirrors. Children 12 years and over are welcome. After your adventures relax in our guest lounge swap travel stories with other guests catch up on your postcards or enjoy our books and magazines. You are very welcome to use our computer to check emails or use our wireless network if you have your own computer. Laundry facilities available.
