Eastpax Hostel

Hotel in a vintage office building from the 1960ies with shared facilities. This is a backpacker hostel for individual travellers. Also groups and families are welcome. Our property itself as the whole direct neighborhood was part of a restricted military area, operated by the Ministry of State Security of East Germany, (MfS), also known as the Stasi. Thanks to the secretive nature the district where the facility was located was left blank on official maps. Since the early 1990s the Hohenschönhausen Memorial invites visitors to the former prison complex.
